About Us
Dr . Bruce Johnson, PHD, having first-hand knowledge of challenge and sacrifice, it is a longing personal belief that is driven with hope and determination greater things to come is possible and attainable for all whom so desire. Out of this mindset stemmed the 1000 Men Empowerment Group, which assists veterans, men, women, and youth in transition. 1000 Men Empowerment group is a nonprofit organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code; we are committed to assisting at risk youth with toys, clothes, and food. Through our Visit to Prison Ministry, we connect with incarcerated individuals by sharing our life changing testimonials. Our team has a passion to help with reentry. 1000 Men Empowerment Group continues to promote greatness through our job referral resources, and the Red Shirt Campaign which helps fund various projects for homeless veterans.
