Terms and conditions for Community Service Hours (CSH)
Purpose:
The Community Empowerment is a program that provides available resources and promotes self-sufficiency skills. With the intention to slow down the spread of Covid-19, participants can participate online by viewing educational and informative videos and articles. The online Community Empowerment gives access to participants can't travel.
Who can participate?
Participants who complete a volunteer registration form in order to receive community service hours are eligible. Information such as name, email, address, phone number, gender, age, and contact preference are collected for the purpose of providing services to the participants.
There is no limit to how many times videos and news clips are viewed, but participant must complete the questions in order to receive CSH. Participants who review the video and answer the questions, again, are no longer be eligible for the listed hours; instead, participants will receive 30 minutes.
Time-frameVideos and questions are available 24 hours from March 16 - April 30. Videos may include news clips, lectures, or documentaries.
Collecting information and distributing Hours
Community Service Hours are distributed weekly.
Community Service Hours are distributed on Fridays. For example, hours completed Sun- Thurs are given on Fridays from 8a – 4am via email or pick-up location 12941 North Freeway Suite 433 Houston, TX. 77060
Participants may request hours prior to Fridays by calling 281-545-7500 or emailing [email protected].
